Hand Support Splints

Acrylic is an excellent material for many products, such as 'hand support' splints used by local Portsmouth NHS Trust Hospital.

Hand support splints are used for children and babies, to support their hands and ensure that the relatively large cannula and needle does not cause any harm.

Acrylic is light, strong and can be supplied in bright colours. In the case of splints or cast-supports for children, the bright colours are a welcome distraction when receiving medical treatment.

A typical requirement of a hospital X-Ray department. These lead trays were made for Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth.
